How is this different from Vagaro, Booksy, or Square Appointments?+

Vagaro, Booksy, and Square Appointments are booking platforms with a generic mini-site bolted on. DCS is the inverse: a real custom-designed website on your own domain (the kind that wins the Instagram-to-website click) with booking, deposits, and payments built in. The other big difference is processor lock-in — Vagaro and Square route payments through their own processor, DCS uses your Stripe account so you keep the customer card history and payout schedule.

Do payments and tips go through our own Stripe account?+

Yes. DCS uses Stripe Connect — your salon owns the Stripe account, the payout schedule, and the customer payment methods. Tips are passed through to your account on the same payout. If you ever leave DCS, the payment history, recurring memberships, and stored cards stay with your business.

Can I require a deposit at booking time to stop no-shows?+

Yes. Per service you can require a fixed deposit, a percentage of the service price, or full prepayment. Combined with automated email and push reminders before the appointment, deposits dramatically cut no-show rates without forcing you to chase clients for money after the fact.

Can clients book a specific stylist or esthetician?+

Yes. Each service can be tied to specific staff members with their own availability, pricing, and bio. Clients pick the provider they want and only see real open slots for that person. Returning clients land on their preferred provider automatically.
